The Apprenticeship

This exceptional vocational training programme covers all areas of intellectual property law. You will gain an insight into the processing of national and international patent, utility model, trade mark and design applications - from filing to grant. You will also be familiarised by our competent team with noting and monitoring the relevant deadlines, the formal processing of files and correspondence with our national and international clients and the relevant offices. 

Patent paralegals learn about new technical developments, innovative designs and new trade marks long before the corresponding products come onto the market. If you enjoy technical inventions, enjoy working with legal texts and have a knack for careful and structured work, and would like to learn a profession that guarantees rarity, you have the opportunity to do so at the law firm Rüger I Abel.

What you bring

• You have successfully completed your school career with a high school diploma or secondary school diploma.
• For later, reliable correspondence with clients and authorities, your German skills are very good and your English skills are very good or good.
• You are very careful and responsible when completing your tasks, enjoy working independently, but also value "togetherness", i.e. working with your colleagues and exchanging ideas with our experienced lawyers.
